Is voting an important responsibility of a citizen?
I will begin by giving a brief description of the concept of civic duty and citizens' rights. Civic duties are all the actions that a citizen who is part of a society must fulfill, and they are fundamental for the proper development of a country, and rights are guarantees that the constitutions of all countries assure their inhabitants by the fact of living in society. So, the voting is considered primarily as a right of each person, but also as a civic duty. From my point of view, attending and participating in the voting is an important responsibility that all inhabitants should fulfill, since it can define the future of our country and also the quality of life of all of us citizens. However, I think that the "motivation" and enthusiasm for exercising this duty -which today in our country is not an obligation- , is a little low. Here I go in the deep.
